Los Cabos Fishing Tournaments

Los Cabos is a top destination for sport fishing. If you're looking to test your skills against other sport anglers, than southern Baja and the areas of Cabo San Lucas and the East Cape should be on your list of locations for world-class tournament fishing. Fishing tournaments sprout up every year in Baja but Los Cabos is home to more big-money tournaments than just about anywhere on earth. Tournament season starts in late June and runs into November with events in the East Cape, Cabo San Lucas and out of La Playita or Puerto Los Cabos north of San Jose del Cabo.

Some hieroglyphic inscriptions on steles and panels of the site allow us to say that Coba was the original name of the city. One of the possible meanings and the most plausible, given its proximity to the lakes, is "ground water".

The city of Coba was developed about five lakes that were essential to their development and survival factor.

Cancun Packing Tips

Here are 3 points to consider when it comes to your luggage for your upcoming vacation. By Sonia Gil from Sonia's Travels.

  • Weight

The most important thing to keep in mind. How much does the suitcase weigh when it’s empty? If you’ve ever paid for overweight, you know how painful it is.

  • Size

The bigger the bag, the heavier it is. Stay away from luggage that It’s too large, you might end up packing lots of unnecessary things. Standard sizes are (in inches): Small 22-24, Medium 25-27, Small 22-24.

  • Wheels

Four wheels are awesome, 2 wheels are good too. Not much more to say, luggage with wheels is much better.

More tips:

  • Divide clothes in cubes
  • Buy small plastic containers for toiletries
  • Tag your bag, there are many similar bags around
  • Buy a luggage scale, if you travel often it will save you money
